  • 1.04 - 1.07 lbs. package of ground beef
  • Price per lb. is still $9.75 just larger pkgs.
  • Cooking suggestions: (delicious meat loaf) Here's one I do; Ingredients: 1 lb. ground meat; 1 cup oatmeal ; 1/2 cup catsup; 1 egg beaten; 1 tsp. salt; few grains pepper; 1 small onion; one small green bell pepper; 1/2 cup tomato juice and 1 cup milk. Mix beaten egg and milk. Add meat, salt, chopped (fine) onion,,oatmeal, and chopped bell peppers. Put in a baking dish and add mixed catsup, and juice. Bake 1 1/2 hours uncovered, in oven at 350 degrees F. Baste 2-3 times. May put 2-3 strips bacon on top . Eat & Enjoy!!!
  • Brown meat in a skillet with lid on to make tacos, spaghetti, Hamburgers, etc.
